Spiritual growth from supporting a person through their end of life journey while increasing the awareness of their own sense of spiritual values. Greater self knowledge and possible job skills, from insights gained from relationships with patients, families, and from the hospice volunteer training.
What Can Volunteers Do? Direct patient Visits/support to Family, Send correspondence to patients, Courier van driver, fundraisingevent/health fairs, Community Outreach and Volunteer Recruitment, We Honer Veterans Program, Administrative support, reading, journaling, housekeeping, quilting delivering supplies, running errands, Tuck in volunteers, ancillary and spiritual support.
