Are you looking to give back to your community? Do you want to receive training on Medicare?
Volunteer with Eras Senior Network and the Aging and Disability Resource Center!
This unique opportunity targets seniors who are approaching eligibility age and may need guidance navigating the process. Training provided!

This opportunity is either short-term or long-term and volunteers will be helping seniors to navigate Medicare sign up. Substantial virtual training will be provided to all volunteers as well as support from a staff supervisor.
What you will do:
-Deliver community presentations on Medicare virtually
-Distribute MIPPA-related materials throughout the community
-Various office tasks
-Attend trainings virtually
Who are we looking for:
-Comfortable with public speaking
-Willingness to learn about Medicare
-Sensitivity in working with vulnerable populations
-Ability to get along with others
-Organizational skills
-Confidence using the computer and the internet
-Someone who can commit to giving 40 hours to this role over the course of their time volunteering

Description
Eras Senior Network, formerly known as Interfaith Senior Programs, is a community-centered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization serving Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Major programs include the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and Community Outreach Services to Seniors.
RSVP volunteers respond to critical needs in Waukesha County including nutrition, housing, transportation, education, healthcare, and social isolation. Community Outreach services are provided to seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities (18+) to assist in maintaining independent living.
The Faith in Action programs aims to assist seniors and adults with disabilities in achieving and maintaining health and safety, with the long-term outcome of living independently in the community.
