Libertas Home is a nonprofit looking for church ambassadors to help share our mission!
Currently, we have a free virtual program that helps parents protect their children from predators online. Eventually, we will add a course specifically for identifying predators in person and protecting children from them. Child sexual abuse is one of the common denominators in children who become trafficked, and we believe that we can preventing by teaching parents their responsibility to protect their children and giving them the tools to do so.

We are looking for volunteers who attend a church and are willing to work with their churches to sign parents up for this program. Church ambassadors can also help by promoting Libertas Home in their home church by sharing the Libertas Home mission and values and ongoing volunteer opportunities. They can also encourage their church to sponsor or host an event.

Mission
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered safe home for girls who are survivors of trafficking and to provide Biblical resources to strengthen the families in our community.

Core Values
Community Oriented We desire to aid our community to see the signs of trafficking in order to prevent more evil. We believe that our children are the future and they are precious. We strive to support our community in growing in knowledge and compassion as we work together to eradicate this evil. Trafficking is not a problem that can be solved by one organization or multiple organizations, but is one that can be eradicated by a community working together.

Christ-centered

We believe that true religion does not consist in pious words, but in loving deeds that come from faith and are empowered by grace. We believe that our own love overflows from Christ and his sacrifice for us. We therefore attempt to demonstrate that love to others, especially to those who are oppressed and vulnerable. We also understand that trafficking is caused by demand and by greed, both of which are sin. The answer is cultural renewal through the gospel of Christ, carried out by the followers of Christ.

When contacting us, it's a bonus if you can give one example from Christian or nonChristian culture that you have noticed that people treat children as nuisances.
