Volunteer Commitment Expectations: Can commit 2+ hr/week to volunteer, for minimum 6 months Short weekly meeting with Marketing Director (virtual) Collaboration with other teammates via Slack/email, as needed Libertas Home is seeking a dedicated, responsible Event Marketing Specialist to support all the programming and events of the organization. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to attend fundraising and educational events, help develop event strategy and logistics, and help build the Libertas Home brand. Responsibilities: Develop promotional strategy for in-person and virtual events, working with cross-functional teams to execute Be on-site for all physical and virtual events to provide logistic support Support execution of events strategy by Events Manager Assist in event planning Qualifications 1+ years of experience in event planning and/or strategy (Fundraisers preferred but not required) Desire & availability to attend most local and online events of Libertas Home, with some flexibility, and serve as on-site support Organized, motivated, and self-starting

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is an exciting opportunity for a volunteer to build their skills in Marketing - including running their own initiatives or simply taking the time to help us out. Our goal is to provide a safe home in Northern Virginia for girls who are survivors of sex trafficking to enable them to create a new life for themselves. https://libertashome.org/ Libertas Home is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic marketing intern to assist with various marketing initiatives. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns that raise awareness about our organization and support victims of sex trafficking. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this internship is an exciting opportunity for an individual to build their skills in Marketing - including running their own initiatives and spearheading their own projects. We are looking for dedicated individuals to add to our team who can commit to minimum 6 months of service, with very flexible hours (minimum 2 hrs/week). Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events. Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness. Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Requirement: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
