We recently welcomed 6 chickens to the Discovery Center. These chickens are a part of our Compost, Climbing, and Chickens Courtyard, where we will be teaching our visitors and students about composting to help our environment.
These chickens need daily care and tending-to as they grow. Duties would include feeding them, changing their water, cleaning out their coop and run, collecting eggs, socialization and more.
We currently do not have any open weekly shifts available at this time. However, we are always looking for volunteers to join our "On Call" list when we need a sub for one of our morning or afternoon shifts. Email us to find out further information!
