Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are seeking motivated individuals to assist us with promoting river safety and educating visitors about park resources. River Rovers patrol popular river sites and educate about river safety and resource protection. They also communicate with park staff via radio in emergencies. River Rover volunteers also assist with litter pick up to protect the natural resources in the area. River Rovers do not engage in swift water rescue.
