Do you love science? Do you love education? Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) has volunteer opportunities for a diverse range of possibilities! To help with museum visitor services, we need some great people who would love to: meet & greet museum visitors; introduce what AMOS has to offer; and answer questions about the museum and Asheville.

Opportunities also include interacting with students of all ages in our exhibit hall, mineral gallery and STEM lab, and those on field trips to the museum. For those interested in helping with educational programming, our awesome education team would love to hear your ideas!

The museum is open every day of the week except Tuesdays. All training is provided on site, and no museum experience is necessary. Volunteers may be subject to a background check.
