Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to inspire a passion and participation in the arts.
Volunteers are needed to act as hosts and greet visitors at the Cultural Center Galleries for the year round exhibits. They are needed to help set up for receptions and events and may be trained as guides for group tours.
Duties include: Opening and/or closing the galleries depending on the shift.
Registering guests and keeping a count of the visitors.
Requesting donations and handing out general exhibit information.
Keeping location organized.
Handing out general organizational and exhibit information.
Hours:
Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Must be friendly and outgoing, art background/interest a plus. Must be 18 or older.
