Summer camp volunteers get to interact with children of all ages and ability levels during camp days and may be asked to help with the following:

  • Facilitate arts and crafts
  • Lead or assist with science experiments
  • Handle general logistics and support
  • Support classroom morale
  • Escort children throughout the museum and during car lines
  • Inspire, empower, and get creative!

The Children's Museum of the Upstate is the 7th largest children's museum in the US. It offers 18 interactive exhibits for guests of all ages, afterschool programming, special events, birthday parties, and public hours programming in the areas of art, science, health, fitness, nutrition, woodworking, and early childhood education.
