Join The Children's Museum of the Upstate's Emerging Leader Program! Currently accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Fellowship. TCMU has developed a professional development program for emerging leaders to gain experience and develop skills that are intended to support future employment opportunities and college applications. The 2021-2022 graduating class learned about recognizing and understanding different leadership styles from a local executive director, engaged with Julio Hernandez, who is a part of the President’s Office at Clemson, and several of his Clemson students in his Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Workshop, as well as received one-on-one work with a nationally known recruiting agency in learning how to curate your resume, present yourself in resumes and college applications, as well as practice interview skills. Our graduating class set the stage for the oncoming 2022-2023 class as we will offer more professional development workshops, certifications, individualized training, and more opportunities of growth (such as joining our Student Board or gaining employment). Upon completion, professional recommendation letters, a portfolio for college and employment, as well as other acknowledgements and perks are provided! Ambassador: Accepting applicants on an on-going basis. Requires time commitment of 60 hours across a 6 month program. Fellowship Class 2022-2023: Applications open July-August and program runs from August-August. Requires time commitment of 120 hours minimum, across 1 year.
