We have a community guest house which is also a profit for charity lodge. It is located close to a small village town close to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a world heritage site and home to mountain gorillas, We have basic self contained rooms and cottages. We provide warm bathing water boiled by a locally improvised burner, There is a basic kitchen and cooking options are either charcoal or gas (additional cost) but some times we use firewood.
We have a nice dining place/lounge. We have electricity and we have a 3G network connection. You can use your computer or phone. We have tap water and the bathrooms have showers and flush toilets,
The facility gives you a real feel of village life but with basic accessories.

Available sights and other activities include: Gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking, gorilla habituation experience, A boat cruise on Lake Mutanda or Lake Mulehe, Batwa Forest Experience, hike in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a hike to the water falls inside the jungle, a hike on one or all the Virunga volcanoes, safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park or Lake Mburo National Park and a visit to local markets, cultural performances and community walks.

All of this can be arranged at an additional cost. Some are a of 2 - 3 hr drive away while some activities a short walk away from our project location.
Available public transport is bodaboda (motorcycle taxis) and rental cars.
