Are you looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity helping underserved older adults in your community?
Do you live in Anaheim, CA, or in the surrounding area?
We need you!
We’re currently looking for vibrant, active, and friendly adults to help us create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere during our monthly food distribution event located on-site, at an older adult community.
Event happens every 4th Wednesday, monthly. Here are the next few dates to consider: 4/27, 5/25, 6/22
Grocery Ambassadors will help in the following capacities:
- Set-up, knockdown, and clean-up of event space (tables, canopies, collect and sort recyclables)
- Move boxes of canned goods and fresh produce (not required)
- Package loose produce
- Greet and give guidance to residents
- Assist residents in bagging groceries (must be able to lift up to a 10lbs. bag of groceries)
- When necessary deliver grocery bags to homebound residents
- During COVID surges: all ambassadors may be asked to bag and deliver groceries to resident’s doorstep (contactless)

- We ask our volunteers serve the full the timeframe of our events, and to commit to serve at a minimum of 3 events.
- Adults 21 or older that live in Anaheim or neighboring cities. Complete volunteer application, and service orientation prior to service Provide Covid VAX (x3) certification Have a passion for helping others!
