Host one or more international visitors in your home for 7 nights/8 days for the Open World program through the International Center of the Capital Region, primarily targeting eastern European countries. Visitors must have access to a private bedroom and a bathroom. Volunteers would need to provide breakfast daily and dinner on some or all days. Description

The International Center of the Capital Region (ICCR), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, has been welcoming and assisting international newcomers throughout New York’s Capital Region since 1956. We enable citizen ambassadors for professional and cultural exchanges through the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program, as well as other programs, while promoting the diverse people, rich history, and unique assets of the Capital Region.
