Remote Volunteer Opportunity: Whether you want to volunteer as an individual or organize a group, CHS remote volunteer projects allow you to make a difference in the lives of children and families in your area by creating your own project and plan. This project is completed at your location.

Looking to help a child or family in need? Sign up to create much needed resource kits at home or within an organization. This is a remote volunteer project that is completed at your location and convenience. To get started, you can purchase the items on the materials list, organize a supply drive within an organization or school. Materials must be in new condition. Once all of the supplies have been collected, assemble individual packages in Ziploc bags or in any type of basket of your choice. CHS team members will share the pre-assembled packages based on the greatest need of the clients they serve.

This is a great opportunity to receive community service hours. There is no limit to how many hours you can receive. The project is a year round opportunity. Each kit will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time. Each kit must contain a minimum of 5 items. Once completed kits can be mailed to one of our locations or you can drop off in person.

Some kits are Transitional Living "Welcome Home", Hygiene Supply, Baby Kit, Family Fun Kits, and Self Calming kits.
