Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCAZ)'s mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered through knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. CSCAZ offers cost-free programming for any individual who's life has been impacted by cancer.

We are excited to share that CSCAZ is looking for a dedicated Front Desk Ambassador. In this role, you will work alongside our Volunteer and Guest Experience Coordinator. We are looking for a dedicated individual to assist with our Monday 9:00 - 1:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Be on time and bring a positive, professional attitude each shift
  • Great guests and staff
  • Answer phone calls
  • Register new participants
  • Maintain living space in the home
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Position is primarily seated
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds as needed

Please understand the population that Cancer Support Community serves. We are there to support any individual at any stage of their diagnosis, along with any loved one that may be affected by a person’s diagnosis. We may encounter individuals on their worst and best days of their life.

Description

Cancer Support Community Arizona provides the only comprehensive Program of psychosocial services to people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones in the state of Arizona. Our Program offers Emotional Support Services, Healthy Lifestyle Activities, Educational Seminars, Social Connections and Resources and Referral. Our services are evidence-based, professionally facilitated and provided at no cost to our participants. Through participation in our Program, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease.
