I love to step in through the doorway and feel like part of the family. The Wellness Community is just that. A Community that promotes wellness for Cancer patients of all types and stages, as well as their friends and family.

The Wellness Community builds community with aanyone who has been touched by cancer. As someone has cancer, there is nothing better than to talk someone who has been there and done that. The best thing about The Wellness Community is that all of their programs are "FREE". Our favorate four letter word. This is one of the best orgainzations I have ever volunteered for or been associated with.

There are few diagnoses that pack such an emotional punch as cancer. When faced with such news, people often feel bereft and adrift in turmoil and uncertainty. The Wellness Community provides a safe haven where those having to make decisions about their options, obtain direction for decision making and vent their concerns in a supportive atmoshphere and where family and friends can also gain the emotional support they may desire during a trying time. The staff at TWC is dedicated, compassionate and professional, all with huge open hearts that makes everyone who walks through the door feel welcome and understood. This carries over to the volunteers who give their time in varying capacities to this fine organization - an organization the embodies spirit, body and soul.
