Drop-in tutoring

Drop-in tutoring is an opportunity for you to get to know our community or if you just want to dip your toes into the world of adult education!

With drop-in tutoring, you are free to change your hours and availabilities based on your schedules. Opportunities are available anytime during our business hours of Monday-Thursday, 10 am- 8 pm. There's no time commitment required; the only requirement before getting started is to register and attend a 'New Tutor Orientation'

If interested, a tutor is able to indicate a block of time for a given week that they are willing to come and tutor a specific subject. The main subjects in need are reading, writing, math, ESL, and computer skills. This provides greater flexibility to tutors who are not able to make long-term commitments. It also provides another means of support to our learners.
