Hartford Hospital is in need of pet therapy teams to provide caring and uplifting interactions with students and staff at the Grace Webb School in Avon. Teams must have a pet therapy certification to apply.

The Grace Webb School at Avon, a satellite program of the Institute of Living's Grace Webb School in Hartford, provides special education and related services to students in grades K-8. Students who have emotional issues which affect their educational progress are referred by their local school. Student functioning ranges from slightly impaired to gifted levels.

Shifts for pet therapy teams are available Monday or Wednesday and can be any 1-2 hours between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
