Overview
Ideal opportunity for an individual who is interested in leveraging your professional skills, expanding your network and making a positive difference in the community.
Structure
- 1 year commitment
- Biweekly meetings and 2 hours per week executing tasks outside of meetings
Responsibilities
- Recruit volunteers
- Provide potential volunteers with information about open roles and respond to potential volunteers questions or concerns
- Develop and execute policies and plans to help Season to Soar optimize recruiting strategies
- Matching prospective volunteers with appropriate opportunities based on their interests and skills
- Help interview and onboard volunteers
- The committee role is a highly involved opportunity that requires task execution and project management.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in human resource related role or role related to developing and maintaining strategic partnerships
- Prior board or committee experience preferred but not required
Location
- Remote
- In-person meetings, where applicable (if members feel comfortable post COVID-19) and no more than 1 / month.
