Virtual Opportunity
Overview Skipped meals, gun violence and poverty are circumstances that no youth should have to deal with. Use your professional skills to help make sure that one less youth has to experience these challenges. Many of the youth that Season to Soar serves deal with these challenging circumstances everyday. They face them with resilience and strength. They are capable, fun loving, "normal" kids who face social dynamics that we should not consider normal, or be okay with accepting. This is a great opportunity to use your professional skills to both expand professionally through committee (board) service, while also benefiting personally through giving back and uplifting underserved communities. The backend work that the professionals on our committees do is essential for Season to Soar to be able to operate and serve youth and their families in low income communities. Your support on one of our committees will make a real impact. We need you. Responsibilities Use your professional skillset to help execute projects and tasks that our committees lead. The committee options are: Marketing / Communications Human Resource Outreach / Partnerships and External Affairs Fundraising / Finance & Budgeting Program Development (youth and community programs) All are welcome to apply, if you have the passion to help, we can find a place for you on our team. Commitment Virtual meetings every other week Apx 2 hours per week executing projects and tasks independently outside of meetings 1 year board term
