Project Sunshine - Providing Rays of Sunshine to Patients and Families

This opportunity is perfect for clubs, groups and organizations!

Community Hospice of Columbiana County needs your help to provide Rays of Sunshine to our patients and their caregivers. Project Sunshine is a year-round initiative driven by generous individuals, community groups or organizations who provide small gifts to brighten the lives of those receiving Hospice services. Examples of gift ideas include, but are not limited to: treat bags, handmade sewing projects, handwritten cards of encouragement, gift bags/baskets with small items such as lotions, lip balm, nail polish, snack bars. No gift is too small, and rest assured, any gesture of kindness will bring a ray of Sunshine and a smile to their faces.

Community Hospice volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team. Our trained volunteers provide much needed support serving our patients and families wherever they are in their journey.

Volunteers do not need to live in the Columbiana County area but must be able to deliver their donations to the Salem office.
