Wildcat Campground is a beautiful 16-site campground in Rabun County, GA. It is 30 minutes away from Clayton, GA and 45 minutes from Clarkesville, GA. Wildcat Creek runs adjacent to the campground. It is a gorgeous cascading creek that is seasonally stocked with rainbow trout. The campground is nearby Lake Burton and the popular waterfall trail Hemlock Falls.
Schedule: Hosts are expected to be available at the campground Friday - Sunday including holiday weekends. Commitment to the entire recreation season from March 15th to October 30th is also expected.
Amenities: Campsite provided free of charge. Wildcat Road, the road leading to the campground, is a curvy gravel one-lane road that does not allow RVs or trailers. Host must provide their own tent or truck bed camper. Campground is equipped with 2 chemical toilets. No drinking water or electricity provided. Verizon works fairly well at the campground, but other providers are spotty.
