Research and create local history displays. The content of the eight display cases will rotate every six months. Volunteers will select artifacts, images, and information that engage visitors under the supervision of local history staff. The process includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Researching topics through our book, information files, newspaper, image, artifact, and manuscript collections
- Creating reproductions of images, text panels, and backdrops for display
- Identifying artifacts and original material for displays
- Cleaning display cases
- Setting up the displays and removing them every six months
- Housing, labeling, filing, and shelving material removed from the displays
Requirements: Volunteer candidates must be at least 18 years old. Basic computer skills, research skills, experience in creating displays or exhibits a plus, knowledge of Photoshop a plus

Description
The City of Corona offers volunteer opportunities at many of its departments and facilities. Opportunities can currently be found at the Corona Public Library, Corona Senior Center, Community Center, Youth Sports and Kids Club after school programs. We offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions.
