Want to engage your heart, mind and spirit? Consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer with Rivercross Hospice Volunteer program. We provide services for the mind, body, and spirit to increase the quality of life in patient's who are terminally ill.
Here are some ways you can help your community:
Friendly visits: Provide companionship to patients at home or in a skilled nursing facility through social and emotional presence, and spiritual support; Engaging in activities through conversation, listening, reading, singing, playing games, or in the creative arts; Providing caregiver relief for naps, errands, appointments or social time.We are also looking for licensed cosmetologists, photographers, and certified Therapy animals.
Office Support: Provide telephone support, filing, assembling admission packets, prepare mailings, and supporting the hospice staff with other office duties.
Bereavement Support: Provide emotional and spiritual support to our Bereaved families through monthly calls, mailings, and support groups.
Special Projects: Sewing memory bears for bereaved families; decorate medication boxes; creating gift cards and more.
Activities: Participation in our Memorial Ceremonies and Veterans Day tribute with event planning, administration, food service, and decorating.

Rivercross Healthcare provides services for terminally ill patients all throughout Eastern Oklahoma. We are dedicated to providing services for our patient's mind, body, and soul. We do this by providing a multitude of services from the Interdisciplinary Team that consists of Volunteers. Our Volunteers have a compassionate, caring heart that provides distraction, compassion, and a listening ear for our patients and families as well as our staff.
