Dog Adoption Program( age 16 and up)

Thursdays - Tuesdays 10am - 6pm, Wednesdays 2pm - 6pm.

As a volunteer, you will assist customers with adoptions. All customers are required to interact with a dog before submitting an application. Help match potential adopters to their new FURever friend!!

Requirements: Volunteers must have excellent customer services skills. You must be able to communicate with the public clearly and answer questions. You will learn and practice safe animal handling according to OCAS guidelines at all times. You must be able to bend, lift and tolerate exposure to loud noise, heat and cleaning agents.

Training: Online Volunteer orientation and hands on animal handling training. Additional training will be provided by a Lead volunteer or staff.
