Heartland Hospice has an amazing Volunteer Team! I would love to have you join us! There are different areas you can choose to volunteer in. We have volunteers who enjoy being in the field and visiting the patients. there is no physical care or hands-on care for the volunteers. Our patient volunteers are the "friendly face" that comes to visit. During these visits, the volunteer listens to stories from the patients, watches their favorite movies/shows, reads to them, listens to music, or just be present.
You can also work in the office and help with clerical duties. There are different departments you can help in.
You can absolutely do both too!

  • As a Heartland Volunteer, you can give as little as 1 hour a month to as many hours as you'd like. Normal visiting hours are 8am to 8pm. You work with the families on what would work best. Monday- Sunday.
