We all need a little pampering from time to time and the nursing home and assisted living residents are no exception. Our Pop Up Spa brings honor and value to each resident by giving them some undivided attention, the healing touch of a gentle hand massage, the aroma therapy of the soothing lotion, and the all-around "feel good" of being pampered!

Pop-Up Spa Responsibilities include:

• File, buff, and paint residents' nails (no clipping of nails)
• Gentle hand massage/apply lotion
• Share stories, smiles, laughter
• Take photo with a facility camera (props available) for the resident to keep

Volunteer Qualifications:

• Caring and outgoing personality - attentive to each resident you are working with
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or wear a mask.
• Must pass a background check (done at St. Augustine at no charge)

Pop-Up-Spa Volunteers can help out as a one-time event, or commit to returning for an ongoing volunteer opportunity.

Individual & small group ongoing volunteers: Weekday opportunities are available Monday - Friday between 10:30a.m. - 4 pm. We prefer a minimum of 4 hours per month. This is truly a way to help bring honor and value to residents who often feel forgotten. (call for other hours)

Weekend opportunities are available for larger groups. Groups under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We can work with your schedule.
