Mission: Founded in 1998, P.S. I Love You Foundation is a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization specializing in producing and implementing effective Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs for youth in our communities. We deliver 12 week SEL progams taught during school hours by substituting Math or Science once a week for 12 weeks. Our goal is to positively influence youth's attitudes, thoughts, feelings and choices through life skills that develop self regulation, emotional resilience, health and well-being, social development and hope.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: We are seeking someone with experience in outreach and management of donors to take the lead and help diversify PS I Love You's funding sources. The volunteer will:

Research and connect with potential corporate sponsors and donors to amplify PS I Love You's reach

Design, document, and implement a systematic and integrated corporate sponsorship program.

Assist with communicating with and welcoming new donors and sponsors

Provide professional assistance and interaction with sponsors, responding to questions, concerns, or inquiries

Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills that are effective with a diverse range of audiences including board members, volunteers, internal staff, donors, executives, potential funding partners and all constituencies.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team; detail oriented, well organized, focused and goal-oriented, with a high level of initiative and energy, as well as problem solving skills.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per week.
