Reading Hospital is looking for Helping Hands volunteers serve on patient floors. These volunteers bring water to patients, restock patient rooms, take meal trays to patients and help around the unit. Volunteers do not go into patient rooms with COVID or any communicable disease. Shifts are two hours long. Training is provided. For additional information, please call Volunteer Services 484-628-8217

The Reading Health Sytem is comprised the Reading Hospital, Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, the McGlinn Cancer Institute, Miller Regional Heart Center, Emergency Services, Level II Trauma Center, Beginnings Maternity Center, Reading Health Physician Network, Reading School of Health Sciences and The Highlands at Wyomissing a retirement community. There are volunteers for every skill set and heart's desire.
In addition to providing top notch health care we serve the wider community through The Friends of Reading Hospital whose fundraising event proceeds support innovative projects within the hospital and community.
