Mission and Program Description: Provide older adults and their families with education, valuable resources and quality services to help seniors preserve their independence and improve their overall well-being. Help seniors to live safely and well cared for with dignity, without consideration of social and cultural differences, and advocate for those in need.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

Research, develop, and write inquiries, letters, and other fundraising documents

Draft proposals and other correspondence to solicit grant funds (work with ED, edit documents)

Track and monitor proposals, their deadlines, and requirements

Ensure proposals and grant reports are submitted by the deadline(s)

Requirements: Volunteers can work remotely.

Experience in philanthropy and non-profits a plus

Proven experience as a nonprofit grant writer preferred

Working knowledge of MS Office

Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

Proficiency in writing, communications or relevant field

Time Commitment: flexible, minimum of 3 months with approximately 3-5 hours per week (more if available), remote volunteer role, volunteers may need to be mindful of deadlines.
