Light a candle in someone's life!
ORGANIZATION: Kindful Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Kindful hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to sit with patients and offer caregiver relief while the caregiver runs errands and takes a break. We train our volunteers and will go with you the first time you sit with a patient. Some patients are able to talk and you can visit with them, others might sleep while you are there. This is such an important role to be able to give these families a break. Caring for a family member 24/7 is very tiring and stressful. That is where volunteer angels come in for a while and bring relief for these families! We have patients all over the Tulsa/Bartlesville/Muskogee area so you can choose which area works best for you.
Volunteering is not only a great way to give back to your community, but to connect deeply with others of all different walks of life, and to offer your special presence to those who need it most. Use your compassionate talents to illuminate one heart at a time.
All of our volunteers are required to complete an application, background check, and fingerprinting. We pay and schedule all of this.
