Are you looking to create an impact with your instructional design skills? If so, Philly Tech Sistas needs your help! We are looking for an ID to help us design our online course. You'll be working with a SME to help design the course in our LMS.

We are a nonprofit that helps women of color gain in-demand tech skills and career readiness so they can pivot into a career in tech and achieve economic empowerment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help us upload content to the LMS
  • Help create activities/exercises for assessment and peer-to-peer learning

  • Help design the learning structure for the course


Time, Tools, Location
  • This is a remote volunteer opportunity (you can work from anywhere in the US) provided you have a computer and a reliable internet connection.
  • This opportunity is flexible. However, we will work on the deadlines needed to ensure successful program delivery

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Be willing to experiment, comfortable trying new things, and not afraid to fail
  • Familiar with Google Apps
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Attention to detail

We are a non-profit organization aimed at helping women of color gain technical and professional skills in order to work, thrive, and move up in the tech industry. We do this by providing coding workshops and other professional development events that build leadership, confidence, and community.
