Falls Lake is a great example of a working partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the State of North Carolina, and several local governments to bring our visitors a place to "get away from it all" situated just outside the bustling Raleigh/Durham Triangle Area in central North Carolina. Whether it’s camping, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, or hunting you’d like to do - Falls Lake has it all! With over 12,400 acres of water surrounded by 25,600 acres of undeveloped public lands, we are an oasis for many from out of state and right around the corner.
