ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Bring your skills to South Alabama and join our outstanding team of volunteers. This is a great opportunity for an individual or couple to work as campground hosts at the desirable Hardridge Creek Campground.

Since incumbent will be handling credit card payments a background check will be required. Individuals will be responsible for operation of the campground's gatehouse at Hardridge Creek Campground. Must be willing to abide by the USACE Volunteer Agreement and submit a standard background check (required by all USACE volunteers). Abiding by the USACE Volunteer Agreement, includes being willing to adhere to current CDC Covid-19 protocols.
Additional Items to Consider
1. Camp hosts must provide their own camper
2. Must maintain a good working relationship with other camp hosts in the campground
3. Must enjoy working with the public and possess basic computer skills
4. Must reside in campground during your shift
5. Only apply if you’re available to work during the posted dates
