We need volunteers to assist with the many donations that we are receiving - both food and in kind.
We need able bodied individuals who can lift and distribute donations, those who are good at organizing and general administration, also labelling and cataloging goods.
We also need those who have counselling and healthcare experience. Anything you can do to help is welcome!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to ensure a productive community of inter-generational Gambian immigrants in New York City who would contribute to the city culturally and economically. We want to build bridges with other neighbors, local businesses, inistitutions and other community-oriented organizations.
Description
Our program objectives this year are:
- To facilitate an after-school enrichment program for inner-city youth, this would include tutoring, mentoring and career support.
- To organize health seminars, on topics such as blood pressure, high cholestorol. diabetes and heart failure.
- To bring women of the community together by organizing trips, having baking/icing classes, make-up sessions, sports field days and "therapy" sessions.
