- Purpose This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) team. This is a 100% remote (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. This position is responsible for reviewing Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaires in order to optimize the likelihood of a healthy deployment for volunteers.
- Responsibilities
The deployment process for disaster responders will incorporate an automatic Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaire to be completed after agreeing to accept the deployment assignment.
If the responder replies "YES" to any Pre-Assignment Health question, a referral to the Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaire Reviewer Team is automatically generated to require a review by a Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaire Reviewer Team member.
- Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually, including access to computer/laptop and internet connection
- Current Disaster Health Services/Services Associate GAP
- Previous experience deploying on either a regional or national Disaster Relief Operation (DRO).
- Have completed the Staff Health Fundamentals.
- Have completed the Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaire Reviewer Team Specialist training.
- Length of Appointment
Minimum 1 year commitment, renewable
