At Elara Caring Hospice we believe the best place for your care is where you live. We exist to deliver exceptional personalized healthcare services wherever our patient's call home. We do this by hiring compassionate people who believe in taking care of our patients, our clients, our care providers and each other. We strive to foster personal development and empower a collaborative team approach to ensure we are delivering the right care, at the right time and in the right place.

We have a unique volunteer opportunity for a student(s) with an interest in working in the medical field to perform as a medical scribe in our local Toledo office. This unique opportunity will provide the student with the unique experience of working in a hospice office alongside our hospice physician. Prior scribing experience is preferred, but not necessary. We provide training on site.

This volunteer must be reliable and able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule on Wednesday mornings from 9am-12pm. He / she must also be willing to complete our paperwork and training as well as be fingerprinted.
