Volunteer once a month with Project Helping!

ORGANIZATION: Project Helping

  • 23 people are interested

Project Helping is a nonprofit with the goal of improving mental wellness through accessible experiences that create purpose and connection. We do this primarily through hosting volunteer groups with nonprofits across the country.

We currently only have one partner, St. Vincent de Paul, in Phoenix for a total of 6 volunteer spaces per month. We hope to increase this number by recruiting Kynd Leaders to serve at additional nonprofit partners in the surrounding area.

A Kynd Leader is a Project Helping ambassador that typically leads one event per month. We here at Project Helping still do all the heavy lifting- Kynd Leaders are there to check folks in, answer questions, and serve as the go-between for the nonprofit and the Project Helping volunteers at the event. They ensure our goal of community is being met!

If this is of interest to you, please check out projecthelping.org/kyndleaders to learn more and get started on the process. If there is a particular nonprofit in Phoenix that you would like to lead groups at, please let us know!

This is an opportunity to be a part of the start of something with great meaning and impact! We do, however, respect and understand your decision not to participate if this is not a project you can take on at this time.
