Educate. Radiate. Elevate. is looking for Fundraising Committee members to offer invaluable support in areas such as fundraising, outreach, and advocacy. Join a diverse stakeholder group dedicated to obtaining financial support in order to ensure the financial viability and stability of E.R.E.

About Us:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating in Illinois and Texas.

Our purpose is to strengthen the educational achievement of underserved K-12 students by providing them with high-quality instruction from experienced tutors who will assist them with academics, enrichment, and test prep as well as essential learning and life skills.

Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses for low-income students of color to provide economic, social, and emotional stability for the youth served, their families, and their community.

What you’ll do:

• Research potential donors
• Write funding proposals and directly contact potential funders
• Develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events
• Provide the Board of Directors with written reports of long-range funding and sustainability strategies, actions taken, meetings held, or discussions that have occurred among the Fundraising Committee
• Work cooperatively with the Board of Directors and Bookkeeper in accounting for receipts and disbursements of donations

More details:

• The committee will hold regular meetings at least every other month via Zoom
• We seek committee members that desire to be involved for at least one year
