About Us:
Inequities were spotlighted as a result of pandemic school closures. So our founder, a veteran operator of a tutoring business, branched off to form a separate nonprofit for students who cannot afford tutoring.
Our purpose is to strengthen the educational achievement of underserved K-12 students by providing them with high-quality instruction from experienced tutors who will assist them with academics, enrichment, and test prep as well as essential learning and life skills.
Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses for low-income students of color to provide economic, social, and emotional stability for the youth served, their families, and their community.
Our goal in our first full school year of operation is to provide equitable education support to at least 30 students this school year, with an upward trajectory for the following years.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as an ambassador, advocating for E..R.E., spreading awareness and inspiring interest among your personal and professional network (including sharing posts on your social media at least once per month)
- Be knowledgeable and up-to-date about E.R.E.’s services
- Work cooperatively with the E.R.E. active committees
- Participate in 1.5-hour quarterly meetings via Zoom, reading the materials beforehand
- Contribute or raise a minimum of $500/year
We’d love to get to know you better!
