The Boys & Girls Club of Vista is searching for volunteers to support our Gym programming during our Afterschool Programs. Our social recreation programs engage youth in collaborative play, where they learn important social skills that help them work with others and build self-confidence.

Description
Established in 1963, BGCV meets the needs of youth ages 5-18 regularly at five program sites serving youth residing primarily in Vista and Oceanside, California. BGCV is open "when kids need us most" - after school, on most school holidays and during the summer. BGCV offers safe places just for kids where they can learn, grow, and succeed.
Club programs help Club members build healthy habits for life and how to be resilient leaders through mentorship, accountability while developing a growth mindset.
Club programs include:
- Education: Career Launch, STEM, music and homework assistance and literacy practice
- Health and Wellness: health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement and a Children’s Food Garden
- Leadership and Service: leadership development opportunities for youth.
- Sports and Recreation: comprehensive sports and recreational fitness programs.
