Medicare Help

Do you know someone who is confused about what type of insurance they need, or whether they have enough insurance coverage? Do you want to help people who are having problems making sense of their medical bills? With training, you can be the person who changes confusion to understanding in senior's lives about their insurance options.

Senior Services volunteer benefits counselors provide advice to seniors about their insurance options. Everything from filing or resolving Medicare, Medicaid, or other medical claims to answering questions about the Medicare Part D prescription drug and Part C Medicare Advantage Plans. Our volunteer Benefits Counselors are part of the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP).
