Are you detail oriented and does a clean and sanitized surface give you satisfaction for a job well done? If so, this Volunteer role is for you!
Volunteers in this role will wipe down high-touch surfaces such as elevator buttons, hand rails, and tables. Volunteers will also refill hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility. This is essential to Veteran patient, guest, Volunteer and staff safety during COVID-19 protocols. Volunteers in this position are filling a critical need for health and safety.
Ideal volunteers will have a positive attitude and enjoy basic surface cleaning tasks. Volunteers will have access to needed supplies and training.
Volunteers are required to have a documented COVID-19 vaccine and Flu vaccine prior to onboarding. Volunteers are required to wear a medical face mask while in VA facilities.
Weekday, daytime, various shifts available.

Minneapolis VA Health Care System is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics and extended care. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System provides for the health care needs of Veterans in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
