This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. The Recovery Event Reviewer confirms and documents that an event actually happened when two Disaster Action Team (DAT) responders are not available. Recovery Event Reviewers may not hold any other role in RC Care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Confirm and document in RC Care that an event actually happened.
- Coordinate with local emergency and response officials to confirm events as needed.
- Confirm events through social and traditional media links.
- Willingness to comply with Red Cross COVID-19 policies for in-person volunteer activities.
- RC Care access with a role of Event Reviewer
- Comfortable using technology to search for media sources
- Comfortable collaborating with local emergency and response officials
- Comfortable working within timelines/deadlines
