We're once again excited to post Forest Service volunteer opportunities at Lake Moomaw! The Forest Service is in the second year of operations at Lake Moomaw after 15 years of concessionaires and we need your help. Serve a critical role directing visitors and distributing information. This position is heavily focused on customer service. Good candidates would be outgoing, good with people and friendly. You will attend a fee booth for up to 5 hours a day providing information for campers, answering questions and aiding in fee collection. You will not be expected to handle money. The Forest Service will provide a full hook-up camp site for those looking to live on site and a partial uniform. Background checks may be necessary. couples are welcome.
