Nez Perce National Historical Park is a non-traditional national park in that it consists of 38 sites, which together tell the story of the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce). These sites are spread over much of the traditional homeland of the Nimiipuu in present-day Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Learn more about the park at www.nps.gov/NEPE. The visitor center is located in Lapwai, Idaho, approximately 11 miles east of the larger community of Lewiston, Idaho.
