Volunteer Duties:

  • Community research to find sources of local/organic produce.
  • Ensure we have weekly in-season produce available for our families by working with one partner farm or collecting several to serve our needs.

  • Facilitate streamlined gathering and redistribution of produce from local farms to our families, which may mean:
  • Produce pick-ups on Sunday mornings OR
  • Receiving produce delivery on Sundays at the north Austin location.

We’ve replaced these barriers with: Sustainable distribution networks for locally sourced meals and produce Financial support directed at those contributing healthy options to our community Accessible educational material empowering families to make healthy food choices for their children
