Works in collaboration with Welcome Ambassador volunteers and Guest Services staff to greet and escort visitors coming to the hospital. With an eye for customer service, Hospital Concierges provide a caring and comforting atmosphere for visitors. They treat every person with respect, concern, and hospitality regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or sociological background.

Job Duties:

• Ability to assist customers/guest with specific requests and solve problems using independent judgment and discretion.
• Escorts visitors throughout the hospital
• Instructs visitors on infection control when entering/leaving patient rooms
• Supports Outpatient pharmacy by making delivery runs to the Ritchie Day Surgery building
• Patient deliveries (flower/gifts)
• Round/sanitize wheelchairs
• Transport patients to/from imaging procedures on main floor

• Customer service minded
• Self-directed
• Adept at smizing (smiling with your eyes)
• Able to learn thorough knowledge of hospital

This position requires walking/standing for majority of shift, pushing wheelchairs, and carrying bulky item, such as, flowers.
