We are seeking caring, driven companionship volunteers for Hospice patients & Veterans in the Greater Cleveland area-- specifically Geauga & Lake Counties. Our Veteran-to-Veteran program aims to pair recruited veteran volunteers with Hospice patients who have been identified as veterans. Veteran volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with each veteran patient, thereby creating an environment where life review and healing may occur.

Hospice is a special kind of caring. Hospice care is patient and family centered, and
seeks to provide support and comfort to those facing a life limiting illness. Volunteers
play a large role in this effort by sharing their skills and interests in a manner that
enriches the quality of life for those they serve. Nationally, over 100,000 people serve as
hospice volunteers and give millions of hours of their time to serve terminally ill patients
and their families.

We follow all current CDC guidelines related to COVID-19, and provide volunteers with all necessary and appropriate PPE during visits.
