Job Summary

HHP is seeking an experienced Database Administrator


Essential Functions

  • Provide stable and reliable Database as a Service environments
  • Work on performance tuning of databases and relevant components
  • Ensure relevant backups policies are in place and documented
  • Ensure disaster recovery policies and procedures are documented
  • Improve the reliability of Database infrastructure, while maintaining the growth
  • Participate in migration from self-hosted solutions to Cloud managed services
  • Provision and continuously improve monitoring for Database infrastructure

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience with the administration of relational databases (preferably with MySQL)
  • Experience and / or interest to administrate Elasticsearch database
  • Have a good understanding of database monitoring and security
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work in a distributed and international, English speaking team
